TCHS Grant
Application Form Recognizing our goal to promote interest in the history of Tulare County and preserve the heritage of our area for future generations, the Tulare County Historical Society developed a Grant Program in 1999, with an annual budget of $2,000. The Society offers financial grants to organizations, institutions and individuals involved in the preservation, promotion, restoration and/or enhancement of Tulare County history. The Society welcomes all grant applications which demonstrate some fashion of Tulare County historical preservation effort. For example: Preserving or restoring a historical building; researching, writing or publishing of a book; acquiring equipment (fax or copy machines, etc.); reproducing historical photographs; or assisting students with a "History Day" project. All applicants will be considered, leaving open the possibility of awarding several grants each year. Applicants will be requested to fill out the Grant Application form. Print and mail this form. On an annual basis, grant applications will be accepted December 1 - March 15. Each April, applications will be reviewed by the Grant Committee, and then be presented to the TCHS Board for discussion and final approval. Applicants may re-apply on an annual basis.
